Garden Design - Garden Focal Points

It's fun and keeps your garden interesting to have focal points of interest through out.  Here are a few of my focal points .

Each year I develop a bit different focal point.  It might be that one plant did not grow as well as I felt it should have.  Or, I may have found a new passion and have a new idea I want to show.

I like lots of color so I experiment with different flower varieties, textures and shapes of the blossom and also the leaves.  Notice the contrast between the purple coleus and the chartreuse hosta tied together wih pink impatiens.  Look closely and you'll see a tea cup on a stake!

Just one more view!  Doesn't that give you a serene feeling?
